All of our teachers have music degrees and the professional experience required to teach.

How do I enroll in Star Music Academy? To enroll in Star Music Academy, simply call our Downtown location at (803) 252-8133.
What types of music lessons do you offer? We offer a wide variety of music lessons: including piano, guitar, drums, voice, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, French horn, violin, viola, cello, and more! Please contact us for more information.
How much do your music lessons cost? Star Music Academy students pay a tuition of $120 per month. This includes one on one 30 minute lesson with a qualified private instructor once per week. Please note that some of our teachers rates vary. Please call for more information.
Do I need to bring my own instrument to lessons? For some instruments, such as guitar and bass, it is recommended that you bring your own instrument to lessons. For other instruments, such as piano, we provide instruments for use during lessons.
How long are your music lessons? Our music lessons typically last 30 minutes.
What age groups do you offer music lessons for? We offer music lessons for students of all ages, from young children to adults. Our experienced teachers are skilled at tailoring lessons to the individual needs and abilities of each student.
Do you offer group music lessons? Yes, we offer group music lessons for certain instruments and age groups. Please contact us for more information.
What is your cancellation policy? We require at least 24 hours notice for lesson cancellations. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will not be able to make-up the lesson. Emergencies are taken into consideration.
What qualifications do your music teachers have?

Our music teachers are highly qualified and experienced, with degrees in music and/or years of professional experience performing and teaching music. They are also skilled at working with students of all ages and skill levels.
